The Resort of
Zell am See
During the ski season the evenings are lively
with a great après-ski atmosphere and a wealth of choice for
those seeking good food and entertainment
Zell am See is part
of the Europasport region and your ski pass entitles you to ski
here on the Schmittenhohe or at Kaprun, where the glacier on the
Kitzsteinhorn offers all year round skiing. For those who like
even more variety, the vast ski region of Saalbach and
Hinterglemm is a 20 minute drive away. |
During
the spring and summer season the town changes; cafes start to
spill out onto the pedestrianised streets and the place becomes
filled with ramblers and cyclists. You can take a leisurely
stroll around the town, walk or cycle around the lake or take
the cable car up to the mountains to enjoy the stunning views
and signposted pathways. |

You can swim in the lake or take advantage of one of
the three outdoor swimming pools situated around the lake.
Zell am See
really does have something to offer everyone.
For those who play golf, there are 2, 18-hole championship courses
located in the valley between Zell and Kaprun. |
