Zell am See

This is one of Austria's most beautiful regions with something to offer everyone all year round. Although most famous as a skiing area the region is extremely popular from spring through to autumn with those seeking fresh air and stunning countryside. The world famous Krimml Waterfalls are nearby and resorts such as Kitzbühel and Bad-Gastein are easily within reach.

For city lovers Salzburg , the birth place of Mozart, is just 80km away and offers great shopping with superb architecture and theatre.

Kaprun and The Kitzsteinhorn

Kaprun is Zell am See's neighbouring village and part of the same Europasport Ski region. The glacier on the Kitzsteinhorn mountain here ensures that there is all year round skiing.

The stunning waterfalls at Krimml are well worth a visit. The walk to the top can be rewarded with an ice cold beer and typical Austrian meal in the restaurant!

The pretty alpine village of Kitzbühel is only a short drive or train journey away.
